Chichester stadium go-ahead

CHICHESTER City United Football Club has finally been given permission to revamp its stadium at Oaklands Park.
The application includes a club pavilion and upgrading other facilities.

Fingers are still being crossed, though, that plans to develop the old ground at Church Road go ahead as it is pivotal in funding the Oaklands Park plans.

A decision on the Church Road development, which includes 78 homes – 21 flats and 57 houses – is expected later this month (May).
