A FUNDRAISING treat was cooked up by pupils at Oakwood Primary School who are supporting their teacher who is taking part in the London Marathon.
The youngsters baked cakes and hosted a bring-and-buy sale, as well as collecting coins to create a path of pennies along the Oakwood driveway. The money is a boost for Oakwood teacher Yvonne Lee, who is hoping to raise at least £1,800 for MacMillan Cancer Support.

The Chichester school’s head of pre-prep is already in training, and is determined to complete the race in under four hours, and at the same time raise thousands of pounds for the charity.

You can make a donation to support Yvonne’s effort at www.justgiving.com/yvonnelee1
