Volunteers are being sought for a big beach clean-up at Selsey on Saturday (September 20).
Beachwatch 2008, flagship event of the national adopt-a-beach project, takes place at East Beach car park from 11am to 1pm.
This is a joint initiative between Chichester District Council's Manhood wildlife project officer, Sarah Hughes, Selsey com
munity wardens Jacqui Averis and Gareth Jones, and Anya Frampton, of Mulberry Divers, who is organising a underwater clean-up.
They are looking for volunteers to help clean and survey the beaches, as part of the Marine Conservation Society (MCS) coastal environmental initiative.
