Late-night assault in East Wittering: witnesses sought

DETECTIVES have renewed an appeal for witnesses to a late-night assault at a pub in East Wittering.
A man sustained facial injuries in the incident which started inside the Royal Oak in Stocks Lane before spilling outside.

The victim was treated by paramedics following the incident on December 7 last year.

Officers arrested a man in connection with the assault before releasing him on bail.

They are now urging anyone who witnessed the assault or has any information about it to come forward.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Det Sgt Gowling at Chichester police station on 0845 60 70 999 or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
