A NETWORK of household waste recycling sites in West Sussex has won customer praise in an independent survey.
The survey revealed 95 per cent of people – one per cent more than the previous year – said they were satisfied with the service, operated on behalf of the county council by Viridor Waste Management.

A total of 69 per cent – an increase of eight per cent – said they were very satisfied.

Sites at Chichester and Littlehampton, which were refurbished in 2006, and a relatively-new site at Billingshurst, maintained their extremely high performance levels, said the survey.

It also revealed the pattern of visiting sites has altered. Customers are now more likely to go monthly rather than weekly, reversing a trend seen the previous year.
