Looking for Elsie

Thirty-six years ago I lived in Bognor. I worked at the chest hospital in Hawthorne Road where the assistant cook was Elsie (Willis?) and I became friendly with her daughter Christine Parks.

At the time she lived in Collyer Avenue. Her husband was called George and she had four children – Sara, Yvonne, Beverly and George, who was born in November or December 1973.

We kept in touch by letter until my second son was born and, as usually happens when leading busy lives, the letters dwindled.

In June I returned to Bognor for a holiday. Although I knew it was a long shot, I went to her old house and made enquiries, but no-one knew of her whereabouts.

Does anyone know her?
