Admiration for Rotary club

I AM writing to express my admiration for all the hard work done by Chichester Priory Rotary Club to raise money for the Children on the Edge charity and other local charities in its Chichester Challenge 2011.

As community fundraiser for Children on the Edge, I am conscious that a large number of people were involved and that a huge amount of effort was needed to make it such a successful event.

In uncertain economic times it is particularly wonderful to see the commitment given by Chichester Priory Rotary Club members to helping vulnerable children who are literally living on the edge in Bangladesh, Burma, Haiti, Thailand and India.

When Anita Roddick set up Children on the Edge she knew she wanted to make a difference. Thank you Chichester Priory Rotary Club members for wanting to make a difference too.

Euan Clarke,

Children on the Edge, Chichester
