Offer of help for small clubs

On reading Clare Hawkin’s article on the rising costs of hiring halls by small clubs, I write to make an offer of help.

Readers will know the savings West Sussex County Council has had to make in its provision for youth services and Chichester Boys’ Club in Little London has suffered the consequences of this decision.

While the club exists primarily for the boys and girls in Chichester, it is now serving a wider community.

Its rooms are available for hire at a very reasonable rate when these are not required for youth work.

If the West Sussex Guild of Craftsmen, the Chichester Camera Club or other clubs would be interested, they should telephone 01243 782462 and leave a message with a view to looking at what might be available.
