Thanks to you all

Dear People of Chichester,

Thank you again for your support for my mayor’s support for my mayor’s charity Children on the Edge.

With your help we have raised a magnificent £15,567 for orphaned refugee children living in Thailand – exceeding the ambitious target I set a year ago.

Very many thanks to all who contributed, not least the Chichester Observer for their support with the final appeal.

Children on the Edge is a Chichester charity based in North Street over the Swallow Bakery – their details are in the phone book and on the internet.

Their need for help is ongoing anD I am sure Chichester people will continue to bear them in mind in future.

I have now handed over as mayor so this is ‘goodbye’ from me, and thank you all again for your support.

The new mayor, Cllr Tony French, has named the New Park Community Association as his charity for the coming year.

Very best wishes

Cllr Michael Woolley
