Snow sprinkles the countryside around Chichester

Residents awoke to a sprinkling of snow dusting the Observer area on Friday morning.

While coverage was patchy across the patch, Adam Cooke took this amazing shot of icicles in a hedge after a water main burst near Funtingdon on the B2146.

With temperatures predicted to plummet to -3C overnight, there could be more snow to come.
