Traffic light batteries stolen in Emsworth

Police are appealing for witnesses after thieves stole battery packs from a set of temporary traffic lights in Emsworth.

The theft occurred overnight on Monday, February 6, to Tuesday, February 7, when the three large black batteries were stolen from the lights in Old Farm Lane.

The batteries all have ‘STM’ and a number visible on them and were made either by ‘Crown’ or ‘Platinum Extreme Plus’.

Sussex Police are asking for any witnesses or anyone with any information regarding this theft to phone 101 quoting serial 0519 of07/02.
