Abstract art with a splash of colour by adults with learning difficulties will be on display at Chichester Library this month.
The exhibition runs at the Library, in Tower Street, for one week from Monday, November 16 to Saturday, November 21.

The artists all attend Starburst Arts, based within the Wrenford Centre, Chichester, a day centre for adults with learning difficu
lties.

The works exhibited are mainly paintings, together with a drawing and a collage.

Starburst Arts offers art of all kinds to adults who attend the day centre, including 2D and 3D art, film, photography, dance and drama, and sensory art sessions.

Dorena Waller has a collage being exhibited at the library. She said: "I feel good when I make collages, I like cutting out the shapes and making the patterns."

A drawing by Trudy Beaven is being exhibited. She said: "I like drawing, it's good and it makes me feel happy."

Several of those exhibiting at the library took part in the successful exhibition held at the Joy Gallery, Chichester, in August.

Chichester Library is open Monday to Friday 9am to 7.30pm, and Saturday 9am to 5pm.
