CHEERED on by dozens of excited children, 10 hardy souls swam just over a kilometre along the River Arun at Littlehampton to raise funds for a village school's building project.
Pupils from St Mary's CE Primary School, Climping, lined the route and waved home-made flags to encourage parents, teachers and friends who took the plunge into the chilly waters on Friday, November 28.

Click on the green play button to see a slide show of photographs taken of the swimmers.

Don't miss the picture special and report in the Thursday, December 4 edition of the Littlehampton Gazette.
