A 17-year-old girl was taken to hospital on Friday (June 27), after the car she was in left the road in Angmering.
It happened in Dappers Lane, under the A27, at 10.40pm, when the car, which was being driven by a new driver, mounted the embankment and crashed into bushes.

The girl was taken to Worthing Hospital with head injuries.
Jon Mays, station commander at East Preston Fire Station, urged new
drivers to take care when gaining experience.

"If you do not know the road, you need to take extra care, and be extra vigilant."
