'Antiques knockers' warning
POLICE have warned Horsham district residents over what they calling 'antiques knockers'.
They have voiced concerns about a number of reports of such activity in the area.
'Antiques knockers' leave a calling card and offer to purchase antiques and gold jewellery from residents.
In one incident in West Chiltington a resident sold a number of items and then found other items were missing, that she had not wished to sell.
These callers have also been active in Southwater and Partridge Green.
