Biker critical after crash

A BIKER is in critical condition after a crash on the A272 yesterday (Monday June 30) afternoon.

Police say the accident, near Buck Barn crossroads, involved a BMW and a motorbike.

The biker, a 37-year-old man, is thought to be from Haywards Heath and suffered chest, arm and shoulder injuries.

He was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, around 4.55pm on June 30, is asked to call 0845 60 70 999 quoting Op Hingham.
