A MASS brawl broke out in the early hours of New Year's Day in Cranleigh, leaving one person with a broken jaw.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the violent incident which took place in Barhatch Road and Ewhurst Road between 1am and 1.30am.
The fight involved up to 20 people and resulted in a number of victims receiving serious injuries including the broken jaw.
The officer in charge of the case, DC Lee Hazell, said: "We won't tolerate violence in our neighbourhoods and are appealing for anyone with information about this incident to come forward so we can bring the offenders to justice."
Six local men have been arrested and are currently on bail while police continue their inquiries.
