Speed cameras torched

TWO SPEED cameras were set on fire in the small hours of February 3 morning, firefighters report.

A Horsham fire crew was called to the A281 Lower Beeding camera at 1.21am.

They used a hose reel to put the fire out, and reported the incident dealt with at 1.39am.

Just one minute later, West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service received a 999 call to the A264 camera between Five Oaks and Slinfold.

A crew from Billingshurst used a hose reel to stop the blaze.
