Hundreds of young rugby players from across West Sussex descended on Chichester's Oaklands Park in the sunshine for a celebration of the sport.
Chichester hosted the West Sussex county finals for the mini and junior age groups, covering under-sevens through to under-12s.

Around 800 youngsters took part, with the same number of adults there to support them.

This is the 31st anniversary of mini and junior rugby in Chichester and their teams have had plenty of success down the years.

Watch out for reports, results and pictures from the event in this week's Observer - our coverage is sponsored by sports shop Game Set & Match, who are also one of the sponsors of the event itself.

Click the green play button to see video footage from the festival and an interview with organiser Ben Bulpett.
