VIDEO: Art which definitely reaches top gear
His two passions are cars and art and so for Ian Cook the Goodwood Festival of Speed is the perfect event.
Ian uses the patterns in tyre treads to create eyecatching explosions of colour.
This is the second year that Ian has been at the festival and this year is spending the whole weekend creating art works based on the festival's theme, True Grit: Epic Feats of Endurance.
Based in the Midlands, Ian was brought up to love cars and and this year is using tyres supplied by Dunlop - a company from his home town Solihull - to create his colourful masterpieces.
All weekend his work will be displayed in the Dunlop Stableyard area and Ian has also been commissioned by the company to create a work which all the festival's driving stars will be asked to sign.
It will then be auctioned off with proceeds being split between charities the Teenage Cancer Trust and the Lewis Hamilton Foundation.
