You can hardly miss it when you walk into the Festival of Speed's grounds, and a what fantastic way it is to greet visitors.

The 'whooshing' sculpture designed by Jerry Juddah is the centre-piece for the festival and sits outside Goodwood House to celebrate Audi's centenary.

Each year Lord March and Mr Juddah come up with a design for the centre-piece and liased with the sponsored car company.

The piece of stunning art shows two cars racing towards the sky in different directions. One of the Audi cars on the model alone is believed to be worth around 3m.

Goodwood spokesman Gary Axon said that last year's Land Rover model was a 'love or hate' thing with visitors but thinks the new Audi statue will impress all.
