MORE than 1,000 people attended the Hurstpierpoint Family Bonfire and Fireworks evening in Danny Park.
The event was organised by Hurstpierpoint Gymnastics Club, supported by the Oldland Mill Trust, the Friends of Hassocks Infants School and Birchwood Grove School PTA.

The spectacular fireworks display was preceded by the Best Guy Competition - with the winner having the honour of topping the fire, with all of the runners-up burnt as conspirators.
