'Furious' over plans for 1,000 homes

Residents have called an urgent meeting to thrash out their concerns over the prospect of 1,000 houses and inustrial development on the edge of Haywards Heath.

The session organised by the Fox Hill Association starts at 8pm on Thursday February 28 at the United Services Club in Wivelsfield Road, Haywards Heath.

Val Curtis, who chairs the Fox Hill Association Action Group, said: "We are expecting a large turn-out as residents are furious at this plan to have these areas of natural beauty facing the South Downs disappear under concrete."
