Fun-time band The Chain will be appearing unplugged at The Wad, West Wittering on July 12 from 2-5pm in aid of Chichester's St Wilfrid's Hospice.

Based in Chichester, the band lines up as Dawn Gracie, Vibeke Hughes, Jo Pritchard, Steve Christopher, Adam Christopher, Pete Burrows and Simon Kennedy.

Dawn said: "The Chain is made up of local Chichester guys and gals who only ever intended the band to be a fun extension of their social life. With ages ranging from 20s to 50s, the friends have a diverse range of musical tastes that provides a varied mix of sounds for each set."

With Vibeke and Dawn taking centre stage - and occasionally the dance floor - the band has built up a good following and are committed to supporting local charities, says Dawn.

Hence the event at The Wad.

"Come along and enjoy the afternoon with the band who will be creating a mellow mood for this fun family-oriented event in a lovely setting.

"Since the band's inception two years ago, The Chain have been appearing at various local pubs and private venues. Enjoyment is infectious", promises Dawn.
