Chichester Festival for Music, Dance and Speech is in full swing with a busy few days coming up.
Tomorrow, Friday February 29, puts the emphasis on adult vocal, with the grown-ups tested across a wide range of disciplines.
Adult vocal will be at Christ Church, Old Market Avenue tomorrow and Saturday when sessions will include senior citizen s
olo; oratorio solo; light opera; novice class; and folk song (tomorrow night).
Saturday offers categories including vocal solo; ballad; English song; soprano; mezzo; carol/Christmas song; Lieder; French song; and adult duet.
Saturday also offers a day of strings at Chichester's Central Junior School when the categories will include violin beginners; violin in various ages and grades; viola; and family group.
Cello and double bass categories will be examined on Sunday, again at the Central Junior School.
Results have now been confirmed for the piano classes which were held at Edes House (first name is the winner, second is the runner-up).
