Free lunchtime concert series in Shoreham

A series of free lunchtime concerts this autumn will be served up by Adur Arts Live around Shoreham on Saturdays between midday and 1pm.
Adur Arts Live, organised by the Adur Arts Forum, is headed by award-winning composer Chris Gander.

Chris said: "It's great to be able to bring some music into the Saturday shop. Seriously there's some fantastic music on offer and all for free, ra
nging from The Boundstone Community Band, The Rude Mechanicals to The Brighton Concert Orchestra and even some drama making an appearance in the festival for the first time this year."

Concerts include:

Saturday September 27. Frank Semus on Harmonica. 12pm-1pm at the Shoreham Methodist Church. Free entry but there will be a retiring collection.

Saturday October 11. Shoreham Chamber Choir under the direction of Lena Urquhart will sing songs from madrigals to sacred and folk. 12-1pm at the Shoreham Methodist Church. Free entry but there will be a retiring collection.

Saturday October 18. Short Stories and Poems. An Adur Arts Live event with the Shoreham Writer's Group. 12-1pm at the Shoreham Methodist Church. Free entry but there will be a retiring collection.

Saturday October 25. Boundstone Community Band perform. There'll be show tunes and jazz standards from the musicians who come together as part of the arts college's adult instrumental programme. 12-1pm at the Shoreham Methodist Church. Free entry but there will be a retiring collection.
