Yapton and District Cottage Gardeners' Society will hold its final show of 2008 on Saturday, October 4, at Yapton and Ford Village Hall.
The autumn show will open at 2pm after the judging, which starts at 10.30am. There are 12 different classes in the show and 84 different sections.

There are several interesting novelty classes with a search for the largest sunflower head, and also the ugliest vegetable. Others include the largest marrows, pumpkins judged on weight and runner beans judged on length.

Tea and cakes will be available, a raffle will be held and there will also be various side stalls.
