More than 1,000 real-ale fans are expected in Yapton this weekend.
The village's 19th Beerex takes place in the village hall from tomorrow (Friday, May 16).

The drinkers will be able to appreciate 67 beers. Many will be supplied by breweries around Manchester and Yorkshire to be tasted for the first time by many of those present.

The products of more local breweries will also be available along with an increased range of ciders and perrys.

The festival is arranged by the Campaign for Real Ale's Western Sussex branch.

Chairman Phil Wildsmith said: "There is a renaissance in British ale and a great variety of beers available at the festival which people just can't get in cans from the likes of Tesco."
