Outings to provide elderly residents around Bognor Regis with a rare break from their four walls are being revived.
The town's Rotary Club is ready to hire coaches to take the senior citizens for occasional journeys into the countryside.

All that's missing is the passengers. Rotarian Mike Fildes is anxious to hear from the neighbours or relatives of individuals they believe would benefit the most from the social treat.

"The people we are looking to help are those who live alone and rarely go out," he said.

"We have the idea of taking them out into the country for a tour round and then a drink in a nice pub."

Mr Fildes can be contacted on 01243 828718.
