Overnight closures will affect motorists travelling on the Chichester bypass tonight (January 27).
Resurfacing work is set to take place on the A27 Chichester bypass between the Stockbridge and Portfield roundabouts.
The work will take place overnight from Monday, January 27 until Thursday, February 20, from 8pm to 6am every night.
Road-users will instead be diverted through Chichester via Fishbourne Roundabout, on to the A259, A286 and A285 before joining the A27 at Portfield Roundabout.
“We are carrying out this work to improve road-user safety along the A27 and prolong the carriageway life, reducing the need for emergency repairs,” said a
spokesman for the Highways Agency.
