Appeal after attack outside Chichester nightclub

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a 27-year-old man who was attacked outside Thursdays nightclub.

The assault took place at about 3.20am on Sunday, October 13, when he was set upon and suffered a suspected broken nose and other facial fractures.

The nightclub is in Drayton Lane, Oving, and the victim was attacked as he walked with his brother from the car park.

It is believed that a taxi may have been present during the attack and police are particularly interested in hearing from any driver who may have been present at the time.

Detective constable Gavin Percival said: “This was a particularly nasty and cowardly attack as we believe a weapon was used to inflict his injuries. If you saw anything at all please contact us.”
