NOSTALGIC supporters of the Apuldram Centre gathered together to celebrate 25 successful years.
Friends, volunteers, trainees, staff and tenants marked the centre’s milestone with a party on Friday.
“Shep Woolley, guitarist, singer, entertainer and all-round nice man, helped the Apuldram Centre celebrate its first 25 years in style,” said volunteer Paul Reed.
“A sold-out hog roast and music evening, attended by some who had known Apuldram in its very early days and – such is the affection and esteem in which it is held – continue to support it today, joined together to sing, dance, eat and thoroughly enjoy themselves.
“Woolley – whose range includes folk, rock and so much more – set the pace for a fabulously good party.
“Roll on the next 25 years!”
The centre celebrated its anniversary with a garden party and music festival earlier in the year.
The Apuldram Centre, near Fishbourne, provides skills training in horticulture and craft for adults with learning disabilities, in addition to supported living.
