YOUNG families from Baby Sensory Chichester have helped to raise more than £3,800 for charity by taking part in a sensathon.
With a wild west theme, 170 babies in cowboy and cowgirl outfits were treated to imaginative play while raising money for the Tommy’s charity.
The charity funds medical research into the causes of miscarriage, still birth and premature birth.
Nicola Ball, manager of Baby Sensory Chichester, said: “Sensathon was a roaring success and there was not a baby in the house who wasn’t in awe of everything they saw, heard and experienced. They enjoyed a wonderful range of activities as they bounced and danced, played music and watched a fun puppet show.”
Families collected sponsorship and one couple held a table-top sale. More than 20 businesses supported the event by donating raffle prizes.
