A woman from Bracklesham Bay has celebrated a landmark birthday.

Kitty Jones, of Third Avenue, was 100 on April 8.

Daughter Barbara Colwell said: “My mother was delighted to receive her card from the Queen.”

A buffet was arranged for family and friends to celebrate.

Kitty moved from Darby Green in Surrey to Bracklesham Bay in 2004. She has a large family, including eight grandchildren, 14 great granchildren and four great great grandchildren.

Kitty is a member of the Tea and Chat Club in East Wittering and loves to meet up there with her friends for a game of cards and bingo.
