Two men from Bognor Regis have been charged with drink driving as part of a Sussex Police crackdown.

Jacob Rawle, 23, of Highfield Road, Bognor Regis, was arrested in Orchard Way, Bognor Regis, on December 4 and charged with having 63mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system, according to police.

Sussex Police also named Prezemyslaw Bacia, 29, of Chichester Road, Bognor Regis, who was arrested in Hillsboro Road, Bognor Regis, on December 4 and charged with having 88mg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in his system.

Both are due to appear before Worthing Magistrates’ Court on December 22.

A total of 45 drivers have been arrested in Sussex since Sussex Police launched Operation Dragonfly on December 1.

The annual operation is a Christmas crackdown of drink and drug drivers on the county’s roads.
