EMERGENCY services were called to East Wittering this afternoon after a car with four people inside crashed into a property.
The incident happened shortly after 12pm in Cakeham Road, East Wittering.
Four people inside the car have suffered minor or no injuries, according to police. No-one is thought to have been seriously injured.
Fire crews, police and a technical rescue unit were called to the scene which caused extensive structural damage to the residential property.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “A PCSO is currently at the scene.
“Damage was also caused to a street light and EDF were called out to assess the damage.
“The incident involved a single vehicle with four occupants inside, all of whom suffered minor or no injuries.
“A building inspector is now inspecting the building for safety purposes and an engineer is on site.
“The vehicle remains in situ and we will leave it there for the time being.”
Fire crews left the scene at 2.40pm.
