The first egg has hatched for Chichester Cathedral’s new pair of peregrines.
Four eggs were laid in April and were expected to start hatching over the weekend. The first chick hatched earlier this afternoon.
A spokeswoman from the RSPB said: “It’s brilliant news and we’re very happy that the peregrine pair have managed to hatch their first chick and we’re looking forward to the rest of them hatching.”
