SIX fire engines were called to a fire in Manor Lane, Selsey, in the early hours of this morning (August 19).
The cause of the fire is yet to be confirmed, but it is currently believed to have started accidentally.
No one was injured in the fire, which has destroyed 80 per cent of the roof space of the bungalow, according to West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
A spokeswoman also confirmed everyone was out of the house safely and they did not have any reports of injuries.
The 999 call came in at 12.10am, saying there was a fire in the roof space of the 10m x 15m property.
In total, six fire engines were dispatched to the scene.
As well as damage to the roof space, the fire brigade estimated 50 per cent of the remainder of the home was damaged by heat and smoke.
