Charities in Chichester have the opportunity to win £2,000 worth of funding with a recently launched community competition.

Actavo’s Hire and Sales branch in the city has begun the search for worthy projects that might need the extra boost and support to help volunteers continue to do their amazing work.

CEO of Actavo’s Structural Division, Roger Hastie, said: “We are currently looking to donate to a worthy community cause.

“We feel it is important for people to get engaged with their local communities and make the time to give something back.”

He added: “We are keen to encourage more public access to community projects, as many of our survey respondents stated they were unaware of local projects which deterred them from getting involved.

“As a business, we have branches nationwide and our branch managers are always keen to work with local community projects.

“Running this competition was the perfect way to get more people involved and give something back.”

To enter, users simply fill out an online entry form with a short description of why they believe they should win.

Alternatively, to complete a form in person visit your local Actavo branch at Units A & B, Tokar Industrial Estate, Yapton Lane, Walberton, BN18 0AS.
