Chichester apprentice is a cut above the competition

A Chichester apprentice has secured a place on a prestigious team in her industry after competing against entrants from all over the UK.

Amy Burgess, an apprentice at Q Hair and Beauty in Chichester. has been awarded a place on the prestigious Fellowship for British Hairdressing Club Star Art Team for 2017.

This follows her winning the title of Apprentice of the Year in the closely-contested ETC magazine’s hair and beauty awards.

“We are incredibly proud of our very own Amy,” said Dawn Lawrence Grant, managing director of the award-winning salon on North Street.

“Training and encouragement is at the very heart of our philosophy. Well done, Amy, you have demonstrated your ability to become a shining example of our brilliant, home-grown team.”

The Fellowship of British Hairdressing is an exclusive industry organisation promoting quality through learning, open to a select number of salons in the UK.
