Hitting national headlines in providing easily accessible, comparatively affordable financial advice is proving a winning formula for Money On Toast.

The Chichester-based firm, which has offices at All Saints Church in West Pallant, is gaining considerable interest from customers across the UK for its online advice service offering consultations starting from £35 a time.

Its timely development coincides with government legislation due to come into effect from the start of next year which will insist financial firms charge flat fees rather than operating on uncertain scales of commission.

Founder Charlie Nicholls believes there could be an untapped national market of more than 11 million middle-income families who could stand to benefit from its services.

The firm’s credentials are certainly solid with its parent company CPN Investment Management having been around since the mid 1980s, this is a carefully considered new venture.

Enthusing about its launch, Charlie said: “We don’t believe there is anyone out there doing quite what we are in having designed financial advice services that take your details and develop intelligent algorithms to work out what products will be best for customers. It brings together all aspects of people’s financial lives and allows them to be accessible in one place.

“For those who want some extra help we have online consultations for £35. This compares well to other financial services which could cost people up to £250 an hour.”

He explained the close-knit team behind the company is confident that its product, which has been bestowed with a funky name to go with its innovative approach, will prove popular among a wide range of clients.

“We have had a fantastic response to it so far, with clients appreciating being able to manage their money through our site.”

While the scheme has attracted its critics as a rival to conventional delivery of financial services, it seems the optimism of the team is ensuring that demand for its services are continuing to grow.
