A cake company has been shortlisted for a national wedding website’s breakthrough award.
Frizelle Cakes, which was set up by Rebecca Frizelle, 30, this April, creates cakes for every occasion including weddings.
A bride who ordered one of Rebecca’s cakes nominated her for the wedding cake designer’s award on wedding site hitched.com, and out of over 100 nominations she made it into the final ten.
Rebecca said: “This is a national award to identify the best new talent in the wedding industry and a panel of expert judges have shortlisted my company from hundreds of entries.
“I started the company in April as cake making was a hobby that turned into a full time job! I make all my cakes from home and have a website, but I go to wedding fayres which is why I make a lot of wedding cakes.
“I like to meet my clients and personalise their cake and bring tasters along so I know exactly what they want.
“To win this award would be so good for my business so it would be great to rally some local support.”
