A CASH injection will help a local organisation recruit more help.
The Arun and Chichester Citizens Advice Bureau has been given £2,000 towards sessional trainer costs to recruit more volunteer advisors.
The funds were part of some £7,000 handed out to local groups and organisations by members of the joint eastern Arun area committee.
Committee chairman Graham Tyler said: “We’re delighted to have been able to distribute more than £7,000 of funding to a range of good causes in the eastern Arun area.
“Community initiative funding is available to help local groups and organisations. We still have funding available, so if anyone has a worthwhile project coming up that they would like support for, I would urge them to consider applying for a grant.”
