At the recent CATN annual meeting, Robbie was praised for his ten years as chairman and presented with a gift of Dartington wine glasses and a tour of Goodwood House with afternoon tea.

His wife, Jakki, who has supported him throughout his chairmanship, was presented with a large bouquet.

Every fortnight, CATN produces an hour of local news on memory stick and CD, which are mailed, free of charge, to blind and partially sighted people in Chichester, Bognor Regis, Midhurst and Petworth.

It covers the area from the coastal towns and villages as far north to Haslemere, east to Elmer and west to Emsworth.
