DREAMS are set to come true thanks to a children’s charity and restaurant partnership.

Wendy Gray, dreams
co-ordinator from the Dreams Come True charity, is teaming up with Brasserie Blanc to host a charity dinner on April 28 in a bid to raise funds.

Dreams Come True is a nationwide charity which fulfils dreams for terminally and seriously-ill young people between the ages of two and 21.

Wendy is hoping to smash her £2,000 target which she hopes will send one of the many young people on the wish waiting list to Disneyland Paris – 150 children are currently on the waiting list, eagerly hoping to see their wishes come true, which range from meet-and-greet days at football clubs, to holidays in the UK and abroad.

Wendy is urging people to buy tickets and support April’s charity dinner.

“My whole motivation for doing it is because it seems for many charities these days, it’s getting hard to raise funds. Sending somebody to Disneyland is my main aim,” she said.

“If I have a bottom on every seat and the raffle goes well, I can raise enough it do it. It is hard to put into words what it would mean, I know how long some of these people are having to wait for these dreams.”

Tickets cost £30 and include a three-course meal, glass of wine and coffee. For more information contact Wendy on 01428 726335 or wendy@dreamscometrue.uk.com
