A GROUP of charity bike riders had one of their signs stolen from outside a Bognor pub at the weekend.

The Royal Oak, known as the Pink Pub, has been proudly displaying eye-catching signs and even a bike on its wall in support of the Pink Pub to Paris riders.

One of them was taken on Saturday night, though thankfully local company Express Printing came to the rescue the next day, replacing the stolen sign within hours.

The group of friends will set off from Bognor to Paris tomorrow, Tuesday June 16, on a range of old bikes and dressing in full superhero costumes.

So far they have raised a staggering £71,000 for the Sussex Snowdrop Trust.
