IT WAS smiles all round as an orthodontic practice raised £1,561.22 for charity.

The Chichester Orthodontic Clinic, in Westgate, raised the cash for the Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.

Staff raised the funds by getting customers to help decorate their Christmas tree and make a contribution, with business owner Ritu Gupta doubling the total amount raised.

The clinic’s goal was to raise £801, the amount needed to allow a child and their family to stay overnight at the centre and they raised nearly double that.
