STAFF at Costa Coffee space-hopped from one store to another to raise money for the Costa Foundation.

The charity builds schools for coffee-growing communities around the world and Sunday’s event (August 17), raised more than £300.

This year the foundation is building schools in Uganda, which is what the money raised by the Chichester event will go towards.

The ten hoppers raced between the West Street store and Waitrose, and manager of West Street’s store Tim Garrett, 32, said: “I’m still paying for it now!”

He said his two children took part and ‘found it easy’, and they raised £90 between them.
