Chichester District Council housing survey

RESIDENTS have until Sunday, November 4, to have their say about housing priorities in the Chichester district.

In February, the district council adopted an interim statement on affordable housing strategy. This focuses on addressing the key issues for the district: increased demand for housing, deceleration of the supply of homes, and issues of affordability.

It also aimed to ‘maximise local economic benefit’.

A new housing strategy is now due to be developed which will take account of legislative changes, welfare reforms, the economic climate and the views of local stakeholders.

The survey closes on Sunday, November 4.

It can be completed online at www.chichester.gov.uk/consultations or residents can request a paper copy by calling 01243 534623 or emailing corporateinformation@chichester.gov.uk.
