Zumba, arts and crafts, a raffle, and a visit from friendly firemen all helped to make a Macmillan fundraiser a huge success.

Organisations Fitjoy and Inspired to Walk clubbed together to hold the half-term family charity event at Central Junior School in Chichester on Monday.

Natalie Owen, organiser, said: “It was a feel-good day where everyone got together to have fun. A big thank you to everyone, and the local businesses who all came together to help out. We are very proud of our community.”

Children joined in with bag-making, hair braiding, cheerleading, and fencing, and Hello Kitty and Minnie Mouse came along to say hello.

A firefighter from Chichester fire brigade even joined in with a Zumba lesson.

The day raised £800 for Macmillan.
